New Eco-hotel to open at Singapore’s Changi Airport

Singapore Changi Airport, a hub of innovation and service excellence, is gearing up to enhance its hospitality offerings with a new eco-friendly Hotel Indigo to open in Terminal 2.

This hotel opening will be the third hotel at Changi airport, combining with the YOTELAIR at Jewel Changi Airport and the Crowne Plaza Changi Airport at Terminal 3.

The eagerly anticipated IHG Hotel Indigo, will be developed collaboratively by OUE Ltd and the Changi Airport Group and aims to set new standards in sustainable luxury.

New hotel to feature advanced sustainable design features

This 255-room eco-friendly retreat, directly linked to the terminal, is poised to become a beacon of green hospitality upon its grand opening by 2028.

Featuring advanced sustainable design features like solar panels, hybrid cooling systems, and rainwater-harvesting technology, this zero-energy gem will offer travellers a unique blend of extravagance and environmental responsibility.

One of the key highlights of the hotel is its ‘Floating Forest’ concept, which will adorn the seven floors with lush greenery, providing guests with a tranquil and eco-friendly atmosphere.

But the eco-friendly features don’t stop there.

Luxury facilities allow guests to unwind after a long flight

The landside Hotel Indigo will also feature a rooftop day club, bar, and infinity pool, offering guests a panoramic view of the airport’s vibrant surroundings. It’s a perfect spot to unwind and soak in the atmosphere after a long flight or a busy day of exploring Singapore.
