Explore Bird Paradise

Another big hit with toddlers, Asia’s largest bird park is home to over 3,500 birds from over 400 species.
There are eight walk-through aviaries to explore within the beautifully landscaped gardens. Don’t miss feeding the Loris, Ostriches and Pelicans and watching the fun and educational shows.

Interactive Fun at FutureWorld at the ArtScience Museum

The ArtScience is our favourite kid-friendly museum in Singapore. Its exhibitions are always an exciting fusion of art, science, design, and technology. There’s nearly always something interesting going on here.
The permanent exhibition, Future World, is excellent and suitable even for younger kids. Created in collaboration with TeamLab, it’s a fully immersive, hands-on experience that will capture your kids’ imagination.
Toddlers particularly love the colouring-in section, then watching their artwork come to life on the big screen.

Waterplay at Gardens by the Bay

Gardens by the Bay is world-famous thanks to its iconic Supertrees. But there are many other kid-friendly areas to explore in Gardens by the Bay too.
The climate-controlled conservatories (Cloud Forest, Flower Dome and Floral Fantasy) make for a welcome break from Singapore’s heat and humidity and are fun to explore as a family.
But the highlight for toddlers is the fabulous water play area at the Far East Organisation Children’s Garden.

Insider Tip: The water play area is open Thursday – Sunday (Tuesday-Sunday during school holidays). Don’t forget to pack the kids’ swimsuits and a towel.
Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden at the Botanic Gardens

There’s loads of fun to be had at the largest children’s garden in Asia, located in the Botanic Gardens. There’s plenty of fun and educational elements within the 8 zones, and the garden is specifically designed for kids under the age of 14.
Toddlers particularly love the water play and sand play areas, and there’s also rope bridges, a flying fox and the treehouse to explore. Even better – entrance is free!
Have fun in an Indoor Playground

If the heat and humidity start to get to you, or you find yourself stuck in a tropical downpour, then you’ll be pleased to know there is a great choice of indoor playgrounds in Singapore to keep the little ones occupied.
Most have onsite cafes where mum and dad can take a load off while the kids play, and kids can refuel mid-play and some even serve wine! Most have free WiFi too.
Insider Tip: Bring a pair of socks for everyone and be prepared to have the kids’ temperature taken and hands sanitized before you can enter.

Play on Sentosa Beaches

The southern coast of Sentosa Island is made up of three beaches: Tanjong, Palawan and Siloso. There’s plenty of space to make sandcastles and splash around in the water, and you’ll also find plenty of family friendly restaurants and cafes too.
Alternatively, pick one of the many beach clubs, where you can hire a lounger and cool off in a swimming pool. Splash Tribe at The Palawan @ Sentosa is especially for families and has water slides and an infinity-edge pool overlooking the beach.
Visit the Children’s Museum

Specifically designed for kids, the Children’s Museum is the perfect place to cultivate the next generation’s love for art and culture. The excellent A Voyage Back in Time permanent exhibition is a great introduction to the history of Singapore for kids.
For toddlers, there’s the Play Pod play space and also keep an eye on their events section for storytelling sessions, crafting workshops, live performances and more.

Ride the Singapore Cable Car

If you’re taking the kids over to Sentosa, then riding the Singapore Cable Car is one of the most fun ways to get there.
