10 Fun Things to do in Singapore at Night

Are you a night owl? Love taking in the twinkling lights of a city after dark? We take a look at all the best things to do in Singapore at night.

Singapore truly comes alive after dark, when the city lights sparkle, the heat eases off, and a whole new world of experiences opens up.

Whether you’re in the mood for late-night eats, illuminated walks, family-friendly attractions, or skyline views that take your breath away, there’s no shortage of fun to be had once the sun goes down.

From light shows to river cruises, here are 10 of the best things to do in Singapore at night to make your evenings just as exciting as your days.

Watch the Garden Rhapsody Light Show

It’s one of the most recognisable sites in Singapore – Supertree Grove at Gardens by the Bay.

And the best time to visit is at night, when the light show Garden Rhapsody sees the magnificent supertrees light up to the sound of music.

It’s one of the most iconic experiences in Singapore and it’s free admission!

Shows are at 7.45pm and 8.45pm nightly.

Watch the Spectra Light Show

Garden Rhapsody isn’t the only free light show in town. There’s also Spectra at Marina Bay.

This 15-minute extravaganza of fountains, lasers and light projections is set to music and takes place in front of the Marina Bay Sands.

Insider Tip: Head to the Event Plaza outside of the The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands for the best views.

Shows are Sunday – Thursday at 8pm and 9pm, and Friday and Saturday at 8pm, 9pm and 10pm.

Explore the Night Safari

The world’s first night zoo is still one of Singapore’s most popular attractions.

There’s over 1,000 nocturnal animals from 120 different species to view at the Night Safari, either from the tram or from along the subtly lit walking tracks.

Start your evening off with the Creatures of the Night Show, before tracking down the animals and then ending your night with some local hawker food at Ulu Ulu Safari Restaurant.
