Adventure Cove Waterpark
A water park is the perfect place to have fun in Singapore’s heat and humidity. Don’t miss the Riptide Rocket, Southeast Asia’s first hydro-magnetic roller coaster (ie. a water slide that takes you upwards).

Over 800 species of sea creatures are represented across the 49 different habitats of this giant Aquarium in Resorts World Sentosa. There’s over 100,000 marine creatures in total.
The grand finale is the impressive Open Ocean aquarium– a panoramic vista teaming with manta rays, sharks, and goliath grouper.

Adrenaline Activities for Teenagers

If your teen is the adventurous type, Singapore has plenty to keep their adrenaline levels high.
From ziplining over the jungle to indoor skydiving and obstacle courses, these are the experiences they’ll still be talking about long after the trip.
Mega Adventure Park
There is plenty to keep adrenaline junkies happy at Mega Adventure on Sentosa, and it’s perfect for adventurous teenagers.
The MegaZip flying fox whizzes over the jungle canopy for over 450 metres, while Mega Climb is a 36-obstacle tree ropes course. Then there’s MegaJump, a free-fall parachute simulator and MegaBounce, a bungee-assisted trampoline.

Sentosa Bungy Jump
Doing a bungy jump gives you ultimate bragging rights over your friends and you can do one right here in Singapore. Skypark by AJ Hackett is located at Siloso Beach on Sentosa, where the 47m-high platform gives you views out over the South China Sea.
Not enough excitement for you? Jump aboard the Giant Swing, which will have you soaring at speeds of up to 120km/h.

Skyline Luge
Scream if you wanna go faster! Part go-cart, part toboggan, jump on the Luge and whizz down a 650 metre long, paved track that begins at Imbiah Lookout and ends at Siloso Beach on Sentosa.
There are plenty of hairpin bends and fast straight sections to keep the adrenaline junkies amongst you going back for more.

Let’s be honest — museums aren’t always top of a teenager’s wish list.

ArtScience Museum
The ArtScience is our favourite family-friendly museum in Singapore and usually a hit with teenagers. Promising an exciting fusion of art, science, design, and technology, there’s nearly always something interesting going on here.
The permanent exhibition, Future World, is excellent. Created in collaboration with TeamLab, it’s a fully immersive, hands-on experience that will capture the whole family’s imagination.

If you’re interested in Singapore’s history then the fabulous National Museum of Singapore is the place to go. It gives you an overview of the country’s history in one go.
Singapore Odyssea: A Journey Through Time, is a fully immersive multimedia experience, that blends light, art and storytelling elements and will help keep the teens engaged.

Battle Box at Fort Canning
If your teens are studying World War II history at school, then Battle Box at Fort Canning is a great place to immerse them in history and help bring it to life.
Located nine metres below ground, Battle Box was the underground bomb-proof bunker of Britain’s HQ Malaya Command during World War II.
Visits are by guided tour only, lasting approximately 45 minutes. The tour recreates the last few hours experienced in the underground command centre, prior to the British surrender.

The Singapore Discovery Centre is another hit with teenagers, as it’s all about learning through hi-tech interactive games and exhibits.

Need a break from the city (and the crowds)?
Singapore’s green spaces are perfect for active teens, with everything from scenic walks to canopy bridges and iconic skyline views.
Gardens by the Bay
It’s world-famous thanks to its iconic Supertrees and they are definitely cool to witness. The climate-controlled conservatories (Cloud Forest, Flower Dome and Floral Fantasy) also make for a welcome break from Singapore’s heat and humidity and are fun to explore.
But teenagers mostly like the walk between the supertrees high up on the OCBC Skyway, and watching the Garden Rhapsody light show, which takes place nightly at 7.45pm and 8.45pm.

MacRitchie Reservoir
If you have active teenagers who like a hike, then check out MacRitchie Reservoir Park. There are several boardwalks and hiking trails here.
The highlight is the TreeTop Walk, a free-standing 250 m-long suspension bridge that gives you a bird’s eye view of the rainforest canopy. It’s an 11km round walk to get to though, so don’t forget to take water with you!
Shopping for Teenagers in Singapore

Bugis Street Market
This market, with over 600 stalls, is the largest street-shopping destination in Singapore. It is renowned as a place to shop on a budget, with stalls selling a wide array of fashion items, toys, souvenirs, homewares, and beauty products.
Chinatown Street Market
A colourful area filled with Chinese handicrafts, ornaments, t-shirts and festive goods, perfect for finding souvenirs or gifts for their friends back home.
Haji Lane
A narrow street lined with independent boutiques selling everything from handmade jewellery to quirky fashion and retro-inspired accessories. It is also one of the most colourful and photogenic areas in Singapore.
VivoCity
The largest shopping mall in Singapore is perfect for teenagers. Fast fashion, high-street brands, lifestyle shops, and plenty of dining make it a great stop before or after visiting Sentosa.
It has the added bonus of direct access to the MRT, plus the Sentosa Express monorail station is located here.
Orchard Road shopping malls
Orchard Road is Singapore’s most famous shopping district, with the highest concentration of shopping malls anywhere in the world. The following malls are popular with teens:
- 313@Somerset and Orchard Gateway – These linked shopping malls are filled with younger brands, denim shops, streetwear, and trend-led fashion.
- ION Orchard – Packed with designer boutiques and well-known fashion brands. The basement walkway between ION, Wisma Atria and Ngee Ann City is full of teen-friendly shops too.
